Explore Wentworth, 0930 – 1630, $25 includes lunch and entry fees.
Transport: car pool
Visit: Old Wentworth Gaol, Pioneer Museum, Military Museum, Perry Sand Hills, Junction of Murray & Darling rivers. BBQ lunch
Dinner 1800 – 2130, $40,
Guest speaker, plus short DVD of Ralph Honner’s Toast to the 39th Battalion

Sunday 8th March

Explore Mildura, 0930 – 1630, $50 includes lunch and river cruise
Transport: car pool as required
Visit: Mildura visitor’s information centre to get an overview of Mildura, paddle steamer (2 hour) cruise along the Murray departs 10.50, lunch in waterfront cafe. In afternoon tour of ‘Rio Vista’ – historic house of the Chaffey family, art gallery and gardens OR Fossey’s Ginporium and Whiskey Distillery,
Dinner and supper (1800 – 2000) $45
Following dinner watch the film Kokoda the Spirit lives, Supper served.

Monday 8th March

Own arrangements home.

Total cost $160 includes all entry fees, river cruise, lunches x 2, dinners x 2. People welcome to be involved in whatever part of weekend they choose then pay just that portion. Veterans and widows of 39th Battalion welcomed as guests at no cost.
Not provided: transport to/from Mildura, accommodation, morning and afternoon tea, drinks, personal expenses at Gin tour, other personal expenses.
