Miniature Battle Helmet of an Ancient Japanese Warrior. Presented to Members of the 39th Bn Association at Sydney’s Menzies Hotel by a Cowra Pilgrimage Party of Japanese on Friday 25th July 1981, a Gift from the Mayor of the City of Kochi, Japan. Some of the Japanese had been with the Japanese Army Opposed to The 39th Bn in Kokoda and the Owen Stanley Ranges in 1942.
The box also had some other items inside.
