It includes the work of the doctors and medical staff as they served with work parties in various places such as on the Burma-Thailand Railway, Japan, Manchuria and in Borneo, where they were involved in the Death Marches. The experiences of the nursing staff are covered. Some escaped from Singapore; others were shipwrecked and massacred in shocking circumstances.
